Pain on Sunday? I’ve got you covered.

“You have Sunday hours?! That is awesome!!!” I hear this all the time. Yes, I am available for appointments on Sundays from 9am to 2pm.

In the beginning

Back when I first started practicing I had to decide what days to be open. Mondays, Tuesdays, and even Wednesdays were a given, even though most chiropractors take Wednesday off (golf anyone?). Thursday seemed to be a good day to take off for a weekday and Friday was a good day to ensure that my patients started their weekend off right.

But what to do about the weekend?

Going to synagogue on Saturday mornings was important to our family so I knew I didn’t want to work on Saturdays but working on Sundays was so unorthodox. No one works on Sundays, especially not private physicians. For my family and my patients, Sundays actually made perfect sense.

The proof is in the pudding

Sundays have been our busiest day since we opened our practice 25 years ago. It’s a quiet day, very few others in our building work that day. It’s a laid back day, most of our patients roll in from a lazy morning or before or after church but the rushing that comes with a workday is absent. It’s a family day, not only do we have my husband, Tim, or our kids working the front desk but our dog Spencer often joins us. It’s a family day for our patients as well. Whole families come in and often utilize our “friends and family discount packages”.

Did you say discount?!

If you are not familiar with these, they are packages of 6 or 12 visits that once a person is an established patient they can share it with other established patients such as friends or family and we give a whole year to utilize the package. Some restrictions apply but it makes it so much easier to come in when the visits have already been paid for.

All in all, we love Sundays. You can book a Sunday appointment online here.

Have a wonderful week,

Dr. Stacey
